Description:

Continuing our partnership with Worldbuilding Magazine we are offering a workshop on Speculative Fiction. Sign up and collaborate with other writers to build a fictional island inspired by the Caribbean! We’ll develop the culture, geography, and so much more. Over six weeks, we will also write short fiction, poetry, and/or comic scripts that take place in the world we’ll create! This new island will be the setting for an upcoming anthology.

We are looking for Dominican speculative fiction writers who love creating fictional worlds. Are you new to worldbuilding? That’s okay too! We’ll work together to think creatively about worldbuilding.

For questions please email Zaivy Luke-Aleman at zaivybla@gmail.com

Facilitators:

T. F. (Taylor) Weiland is the Editor-in-Chief for Worldbuilding Magazine, a writer for Smunchy Games, and he holds degree in Communications focused on Rhetoric & Writing. He loves horror movies, European history, metal music, and spending time with his wife and dogs."
