Poetas en Dos Lenguas: A Bilingual Celebration of Poetry, Power, and Place
In celebration of National Poetry Month, the Dominican Writers Association presents Poetas en Dos Lenguas—a vibrant, bilingual poetry night honoring the voices of poets who move between Spanish and English, memory and migration, resistance and rhythm.
Held at Lehman College on April 30th at 6PM, this live performance event brings together poets who embrace the fluidity of language and identity. Whether through Spanglish, translation, or cultural storytelling, each poem is a testament to the power of speaking from the in-between.
Join us for an evening of verses that transcend borders, celebrate heritage, and uplift the richness of Dominican poetic expression.
Free & open to the public. Performer lineup to be announced. Sign up tp the Open Mic upon registration.
